Travis and Stephanie Van Bumble are a married couple, parents, and working musicians who believe the best live music doesn’t demand attention—it enhances the room.

In 2019, they formed The House Cats, a jazz duo built around subtlety, warmth, and impeccable taste. Their focus has always been on creating an upscale, unobtrusive atmosphere: music that feels perfectly at home in hotel lobbies, wedding cocktail hours, corporate gatherings, and refined private events.​

Over the years, their work with clients and venues naturally expanded into To The Nines Entertainment, a small booking collective representing musicians who share the same values: professionalism, elegance, and an ear for atmosphere. From jazz duos and trios to solo instrumentalists, the focus remains on background music that feels intentional, elevated, and effortless.

At the heart of it all is family and a shared love of music that serves the moment—quietly, beautifully, and exactly as it should.

The DT Duo
Featuring Travis Van Bumble alongside local favorite Dwayne White on trumpet, The DT Duo brings a subtle New Orleans–influenced jazz feel to refined settings. Rooted in swing and classic jazz traditions, their sound is relaxed, tasteful, and atmospheric—ideal for cocktail hours and upscale events seeking warmth and character without excess volume.
Soloist
Elegant, unobtrusive instrumental music curated for cocktail hours, receptions, and refined spaces. Featuring trusted musicians selected for their musical sensitivity and professionalism, this offering provides a warm, polished atmosphere that supports conversation and the flow of the event without drawing focus.
Jazz trio/quartet
A refined small ensemble offering a fuller jazz sound while remaining tasteful and background-focused. Ideal for larger cocktail hours, corporate events, and upscale receptions, the trio or quartet provides warmth, swing, and sophistication—enhancing the atmosphere without overpowering the space.
